Where do I start?
Looking at the frangipani plant, “Does it need water?” she asked.
The gardener paused, the question stirring a memory of his own beginnings. He recalled the uncertain days when he could barely tell a weed from a seedling, now a guide on someone else’s first steps into the lush world of gardening. The contrast was almost comical, and he suppressed a chuckle.
Confidence is fragile in these moments, and without a gentle nudge, she might walk away from the journey entirely. With a warm smile he said, “Yes, the soil in the pot should always have a little moisture.”
Half expecting her to break her character and suddenly say “I’m just kidding. Gotcha!”, he added. “Not too wet and not too dry. If it rains, nature will take care of it. If the weather is very hot and very dry, you should give it water once or twice a week.”
Where do I end?
I often meet customers that teach me things I didn’t know or teach me a different way to do something. There is no end, no destination. The journey is the destination.
Where to go from here?
I think there are two ways to learn depending on your situation. 1. If you have a question or problem, ask, search, gather information until you’ve found your solution. 2. Browse topics and titles and follow whatever catches your eye. Both ways are rewarding and make the journey satisfying, right?
In March 2025, we started a new blog. We decided to keep this website focused on choosing and ordering frangipanis and add information and advice about growing and caring for frangipanis on our blog.
