Description
The native frangipani belongs to the genus Hymenosporum, a genus with only one species of plant, the Hymenosporum flavum. Flavum is latin for yellow.
The native frangipani is a rainforest tree originating in the north-east of Australia. It has yellow, trumpet like flowers with a strong scent.
They grow 12-18 high and 5-8 metres wide.
